David "red" Ericsson is a graduate student in architecture at the University of Virginia. He completed his undergraduate degree in architectural studies at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, in May of 2008. While at University of Illinois, David was able to study architecture at the Ecole Nationale Supierure at Versailles, France his junior year. David's interests in design lie in the opportunities and dilemmas of derelict sites, and the integration of systems, mechanical or living, in the design of complete environments. He is taking a year leave of absence to intern for Lake|Flato architects in San Antonio, Texas, before completing his graduate degree.
